Kenzo have unleashed the new layout to their site. It’s nice to see an online shop produce something different to that black and white designed, above the fold editorial that just about every other site has done. The new site is animation wild, allowing each hover or scroll down to take you on a mini digital journey. Content is shown off with great video, GIFs and lots of color.

One Night Only, Marika Hackman, Life in Film, and The Daydream Club were all filmed beautifully to showcase the new aviator eyewear products. Each band will use the songs written exclusively for burberry as their next single, and some will use the video’s as their music video.

recently ive developed a heavy obsession with prints; paisley, oriental, art deco etc etc etc… it’s unhealthy but only for my bank balance!

anyway, during this ‘print hunt’ I came across Peggy Tan’s Mandarin & General range, the collection finds inspiration from Chinese culture and the heritage of Mandarin-dress making. i love the minimalism of the shapes – you really dont need anything to crazy with those prints!

I used to have a little chinese dress when i was little – it was no way as cool as this one but definitely a good look!

How to: DIY Waxed Denim

You will need:
Heavy Duty Fabric Wax – otherwise known as Otter Wax
Hair dryer
Jeans

1. Lay your denim on a flat work surface. Starting from the bottom of your jeans, rub the wax in even strokes covering the entire surface.

2. Use your hairdryer to soften wax and smooth out with your fingers to create an even surface and create a waterproofing seal.

3. Hang your jeans in a cool-dry place for 24 hours to let the wax set.

interesting idea, and i like the concept – more of a fun, affordable option for chanel lovers.

its a very biker based collection though, lots of black, sequins, ‘K’ prints and things that look a bit too simple and cheap to me…do people really want to walk around with big K’s all over their clothes? am i missing something?
